For some time now, I have found myself less than inspired with some of my favorite models.
If you are a fan of my blogs or know me in any way, you already have an inkling of whom I speak of and who I adore. If you don't, feel free to peek through past entries or to shoot an email my way, I am happy to provide you with my "oldies-goodies-and-obessed with" list of models who are the be-all of beauty to me.
Today, it hit home and to heart hard when I realized that my model crush of the moment had blossomed into a full force love for Jessica Hart. Born in 1986, she was discovered in a local (Melbourne) shopping center and at 15 began her rise into the world of modeling, relocating to NYC in 2008 and residing in a posh residence above Battery Park (I know where her place is, and how much she paid, and have to laugh just a little bit at how crazy real estate is...I have dear family friends who live in same building who have been there for many years (decades now actually) raising up their children and dancing their lives away, locked in at $475/month since mid-70s for their seven bedroom abode with library and studio space...LOVE that town!)

I am not sure how familiar you are with Jessica, but I have had a serious thing for this girl for the past few years, when I first spotted her in a photo blog a friend has that captures people (the famous, the not famous, the famous to some but not to me always types) in and around NYC (home turf) just doin' their thing. And I knew that my life would forever be changed. And the modeling world, had changed, too, and all for the better. Much has been written about Jessica since then, and she has been heavily involved with modeling, design, and art direction of her clothing line with General Pants of Australia, Neon Hart.
Some little tidbits and bobs: Jessica is represented by Chadwick Models; she counts amongst her friends in the business Gemma Ward and Nicole Trunifo; contracts have included Guess, Espirt, Triumph, H&M, Victoria's Secret, and the Gap, amongst others; measurements (US) are 34-24-34; shoe size (US) is 8.5-9; eyes are green/gray/blue; hair color is naturally medium/ash brown but Jessica has been blonde since before moving to US in 2008; has been approached to star in television programs and film, to date has not accepted roles nor attended any acting classes/sessions; lives with long time boyfriend and band member of Tamarama, Nicolas Potts (oh so easy on the eyes...what beautiful children they could make!)
